the hosts at bao long were absolutely wonderful, exceeding our expectations. they made us feel welcome and took great care of us. the location was perfect, away from the busy main street but still central. we would definitely stay here again if we come back to cat ba.

Friendly Staff and Convenient Location

The staff at this guest house were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location was ideal, as it was near everything we needed, including shops, restaurants, and attractions.

One downside was that our room was located on the higher floor, which meant climbing many stairs. It was quite tiring, but manageable.

Amazing location, easy access to countryside by bike, superb air con, strong WiFi, delicious breakfast, incredibly helpful staff.

The owner was extremely nice and helpful! She kept our bags until check-in time and even put them in our room for us. We were grateful for her going the extra mile. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the hot and powerful shower. It's great value for the price, the best we've had in our three weeks in Vietnam. We would highly recommend this place to couples, families, and groups of friends.

I had a great stay at Bao Long Guest House. The double beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well to keep the room cool. The family running this guest house is truly amazing! The staff is super friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. The dinner they serve is absolutely delicious and way cheaper than nearby restaurants. It feels like being part of their family. One day, I randomly bumped into the girl from the reception at the market and she helped me find a motorbike taxi for a reasonable price. On our last day, the girl at the reception even took me to the printing shop on her motorbike when we needed to print our plane tickets. The staff here is incredibly helpful! Our room was spacious and bright, with two comfy beds, English-speaking channels on the TV, a fridge, enough power sockets. Best price/quality we had in 3 weeks in Vietnam. Highly recommend for couples, families, or groups of friends. The host is sweet and accommodating, and although we couldn't try the breakfast, the host still tried to offer us some. The AC was great, and overall the bed was comfy and the room was large. This guest house is a great option if you're looking for something simple. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Great prices for Halong Bay tours and open buses. The beds are comfortable, the coffee with milk is good, and the location is convenient, near everything. They clean the bathroom and provide clean towels every day.
